Lee Martin: Ohio Visiting Writers Series
The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County welcomes author Lee Martin on Tuesday, May 10th as the first in our "Ohio Visiting Writer Series". This event will be held from 6:30-7:45pm in our Outdoor Annex in the Main Library's West Parking Lot (rain site: Urton Clockhouse). Mocktails will be served, and Lee Martin will discuss his book "Yours, Jean" with Kenyon College Professor Ira Sukrungruang.
The Library is offering free copies of Lee Martin's novel, "Yours, Jean" beginning Monday, April 25th at the Main Library. This book giveaway will continue while supplies last.
This program is part of the Humanities Grants for Libraries, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
