The Lucky Penny Sisters are making their debut appearance at Natalie's Music Hall on Thursday, August 25th, 2022. "LPS" is comprised of biological sisters Leslie Alexander, lead vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Caitie Thompson. The sisters are excited to feature local music heroes Brian and Eric Yinger of "The Yinger Trio" and lead guitarist Brandon Hagan of "Saving Jane".
Since their recent rooftop showcase during CMA Festival in Nashville, TN, "LPS" has gained the momentum of a freight train that just continues to pick up steam with their "whiskey roots rock" sound. Combined with brothers Brian and Eric Yinger (The Yinger Trio), their family band dynamic has been garnering attention with crowds from southern Ohio, to the party lights of PUT-IN-BAY, and all spots in between. Gracing the stage with his unmatchable guitar prowess, Brandon Hagan of Billboard charting Columbus, Ohio band "Saving Jane" will join "LPS" for this special debut performance.
Leslie and Caitie were born and raised in Delaware, Ohio. The sisters are twenty-year veterans of live-music performance, which began with their oldies rock cover band, "The Rip-City Rockers". They have been performing as "LPS" for the last twelve years all across Central Ohio, and have also performed in many states including Tennessee, The Carolinas, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan, Texas, and California. In 2015 their first original EP was featured on the British radio station "Folk Union" by radio DJ turned personal friend, Carl Spaul. Caitie is a graduate of Capital University Conservatory of Music, and Leslie is a proud mother of two and a recently published author of paranormal fiction. Her book "White Lantern" has garnered many five-star reviews, and has had such an impressive release, that she has left her readers anxiously waiting to see what is next! www.luckypennysisters.com
