Wellness Open House
The Mandel JCC invites the community to attend a free open house. Attendees can work out in the fitness center, take a group fitness sampler class, swim in the indoor pool, and use the basketball and racquetball courts and indoor track.
*One-day Flash Sale: Those who become members of The J during the Jan. 7 Open House will get the rest of the month free.
• 9 a.m.-noon - UH Community Outreach staff will provide free health screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol.
• Young children can play in the gym with bounce houses, bikes, balls and mats and participate in a family-friendly workshop to make healthy Israeli snacks.
• 10-11 a.m. - Healthy Israeli Snack Workshop in Stonehill Auditorium
A family-friendly workshop to learn how to create healthy Israeli foods with your kids. Family Shlicha Adi Naor will demonstrate how to make Israeli salad, stuffed dates and more! This workshop is for children and families of all ages. To register for the workshop, visit mandeljcc.org/healthy.
