Cleveland Oktoberfest festivities return to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds (19201 E. Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights) for two weekends—celebrating the Labor Day holiday weekend from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1, and continuing the celebration on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6. Now in its 20th year, Cleveland Oktoberfest — presented by Weihenstephan and Bitburger and previously named the nation’s top Oktoberfest by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards — remains one of the largest Labor Day weekend events and the city’s most anticipated cultural festivals. What’s on tap in 2025: • Beers: Assortment of more than 15 craft Oktoberfest-style beers, with Great Lakes Brewing Co., Cleveland’s original craft brewery pouring throughout the fairgrounds both weekends as the Official Craft Beer Sponsor. They will be pouring a variety of beer styles from their beloved Octoberfest, easy drinking Midwest IPA, a fruited wheat and more. The Great Lakes Brewing Co Craft Beer Hall will also host many additional local craft brewery favorites. • Bands and Live Music: A fresh lineup of new and returning favorites, featuring the Alex Meixner Band, The Chardon Polka Band, Fred Ziwich & His International Sound Machine, and the highly-anticipated return of Dorfrocker from Germany. New bands featured: Bluewater Kings Band, Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band, The Zolkas, North Coast Prost, The Bräts, and Da Land Brass Band • Festival Features: Wiener dog races, fireworks, Miss Oktoberfest contest, Bavarian Shopping Village, Great Lakes 5K Bier Run, Best Oktoberfest Microbrew Competition, Art Market, International Pavilion, Masskrugstemmen competitions, Wine & Spirits Garten, and the country’s largest glockenspiel sponsored by Jägermeister. • Authentic Eats: Traditional German and European food offerings. • NEW! Larger than ever shopping experience! The festival is expanding the shopping experience, with additional vendors added to the mix. • NEW! Sports Garten: For the first time this year, Oktoberfest will feature a dedicated Sports Garten, where festival-goers can cheer on live sports events in real-time. The area will offer big-screen viewing, seating and drinks on tap, making it the go-to spot for fans who don’t want to miss the action while enjoying Oktoberfest festivities. • NEW! Keg Bowling: Get ready to roll, literally! Keg Bowling is crashing its way into Cleveland Oktoberfest 2025. This crowd-pleasing activity invites guests to test their strength and accuracy by rolling a mini beer keg down a lane to knock over more kegs.
