Our instructors are internationally recognized! Alberto and Micaela tour constantly and are fresh from a training tour of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The energy and dedication they bring to their craft is unparalleled and the material they cover comes straight from the port towns of South America.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Tango is not about the hip movements. Its not about the flair. Its about creating a moment. A shared experience with your partner. Worry less about dancing “well”, relax, and enjoy engaging with another person over a shared interest. We are here to have fun and then learn how to dance…
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The inspiration behind The Cleveland Tango School was a desire to share our passion and help develop the community. The founders of the school have worked throughout the U.S. and Latin America. It is a passion that drives them. A love of educating, sharing and engaging with people.
What do you love most about your job?
We love showing clients that not only can they dance but that they can dance well. We thrive on seeing our students leave class together for dinner and drinks. The relationships we create shouldn’t stay in the classroom. We want to see the connections extend to the real world as well!
