The Kang Do Won is a family owned, traditional martial arts school that has been teaching adults, children and families for over 31 years. The focus at the Kang Do Won is developing and improving the traits that are most important such as strong mind, strong heart, discipline and self-confidence.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Grand Master Lewis (8th degree black belt) opened the Kang Do Won in 1985. His teachings are carried on by his son Master Hotchkiss (7th degree black belt), his wife Master Lewis (6th degree black belt) and his daughter Master Cintron (5th degree black belt).
What do you love most about your job? _The best thing about the Kang Do Won is teaching students, helping them grow and work their way along the path of training. The lessons learned at the Kang Do Won are not only for class time, but more importantly for every day life. _
