Mimosas for Memories: A Brunch Benefit for Alzheimer's
The 8th annual Mimosas for Memories event hosted by the Giving Voice Foundation is offering new, interactive and enhanced experiential elements to its popular fundraiser this year, aiming to raise local funds and awareness for an important cause that affects nearly every family in America – Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
About 1 in 9 Americans ages 65 and older has Alzheimer's, and more than 126,000 older adults across the Greater Cincinnati area are affected by this life-altering diagnosis.
This stylish, sophisticated and star-studded Mimosas for Memories fundraising event includes:
• gourmet brunch by the bite
• delectable dessert bar

• a silent auction featuring a selection of luxurious date night packages including high value hotel stays, fine dining experiences, pottery classes and entertainment

Anyone can purchase raffle tickets to win the highly coveted Pappy bourbon bottle raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $25, and you do not have to be present at the event to win.

The Giving Voice Foundation facilitates cross-generational conversations and connections to improve the health and lives of older adults and their caregivers through advocacy, education, engagement and storytelling. Innovative local initiatives include interactive music and movement activities such as Creative Connections, Music in Motion and Dancing to Remember, a ballroom dancing program. Giving Voice also offers writing, journaling and peer support opportunities for caregivers through its Purposeful Planning and Lunch Break programs.
