Artist Talk with International Artist, Maya Hayuk
The event will take place on September 30th from 6:30-7:30 at The Carnegie, 1028 Scott St. in Covington, KY. Small food bites and bar will be offered.
Maya Hayuk is an internationally renowned Ukrainian-American artist born and raised in Baltimore, with an independent studio practice in Brooklyn, NY. Hayuk’s murals transform public spaces with their dynamic energy and immersive visual experience, fostering a sense of community and wonder. Her art has been exhibited in prestigious galleries worldwide, and her murals can be found in cities across the globe, including “Chemtrails NYC” at the Bowery Wall.
Following the introduction, Maya Hayuk will discuss her history, inspirations, and art, and then open up for a community discussion and Q&A session.
The mural project is funded by meetNKY, the Northern Kentucky Visitors Bureau.
