Meet the “Savior of Cincinnati,” Major General Lew Wallace, who turned a defenseless city on the brink of surrender into a fortress in three day and saved Cincinnati from a bloody war.
Peter Bronson is an award-winning journalist, newsman, editor, magazine writer, and author of eight books on Cincinnati’s history. He was Editorial Page Editor and Columnist for the Cincinnati Enquirer for nearly two decades. Under his leadership, the Cincinnati Enquirer was named Best Editorial Page in Ohio four years in a row.
