"Whereitallbeganiversary” Celebrates 40 Years of Parrotheads on June 28, 2025 in Cincinnati
CINCINNATI, OH – The Cincinnati Parrothead Club is proud to present the “Whereitallbeganiversary” — a full-day, island-themed celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the “Parrothead” moniker. Join the festivities on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Event Lawn & Stage (124 E Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202), with the support of the Moerlein Lager House.
The term Parrothead was first coined during a 1985 Jimmy Buffett concert in Cincinnati — and now, four decades later, the community is coming together where it all began to celebrate music, memories, and Margaritaville magic.
