"This Cat is Fat and I'm Fine with That!" Book Launch Pawty with KITTENS

Local author and illustrator, Morgan Coleman, is set to celebrate the release of her debut picture book, This Cat is Fat and I’m Fine with That!, with a book launch party at Covington’s Purrfect Day Cat Café on June 15th. This event will feature a children's reading with kittens at 10 AM, followed by a launch party and book signing in the courtyard immediately after. Young children and their caregivers will be able to cuddle and play with kittens during the children's reading by the author, which requires registration since space is limited in the cat room. Families interested in attending should sign up at purrfectdaycafe.com/covington/book-now-2/ to secure their spot. Following the reading, the celebration will move to the courtyard for a launch party and book signing, with cat-themed treats and activities, open to anyone of any age! No registration is needed for the “pawty;” just drop by anytime between 11 AM and 2 PM! Attendees can purchase a copy of This Cat is Fat and I’m Fine with That! at the event to get it signed with a custom inscription by the author, or preorder the book now from thiscatisfatbook.com to secure a copy and get free custom stickers with illustrations from the book. This Cat is Fat is a body-positive picture book, filled with humor and heart, about adopting a furry friend from a cat café. It was inspired by Purrfect Day, which is owned by Morgan's brother, “Purrprietor” Chuck Patton. Morgan has an MFA in Playwriting, but she came to love picture books when she did storytimes at the Kenton County Public Library. This Cat is Fat is her first book.
