Thomas More University, in partnership with WAVE Foundation and Newport Aquarium, is pleased to announce the return of Conservation Conversations, former known as the Marine Biology & Conservation Lecture Series. Join us on Thursday, April 1, 2024, from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Riverside Room at Newport Aquarium to learn about Bowmouth Guitarfish, also known as shark rays, from Jen Hazeres and Jolene Hanna, two of the Newport Aquarium’s top biologists. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Socialize with like-minded folks, learn about WAVE Foundation, and meet one of WAVE’s Aquatic Animal Ambassadors.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. $25 – adults | $20 – Aquarium members, NAQ/WAVE/Thomas More staff & volunteers | $15 – students, under 18 years of age.
