A diverse group of more than 1,200 youth, ages 14 to 21, from around the world will be coming to the Greater Cincinnati area to showcase their talent and compete as a part of the summer tour. Each drum and bugle corps is comprised of up to 165 brass, color guard and percussionists that will give spectators an amazing display of athleticism, artistry and outstanding musical performances. The World Class line-up of corps includes: - Santa Clara Vanguard from Santa Clara, CA - River City Rhythm from Anoka, MN - Phantom Regiment from Rockford, IL - Colt Cadets from Dubuque, IA - The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL - Cincinnati Tradition from Cincinnati, OH - Madison Scouts, from Madison, WI - Columbus Saints, from Columbus, OH - Seattle Cascades from Seattle, WA Active participants in U.S. based drum and bugle corps hail from more than 15 countries. The SUMMER MUSIC GAMES tour includes more than 110 events throughout North America. Total attendance at tour events exceeds 350,000 guests. The SUMMER MUSIC GAMES in Cincinnati has an equally diverse fan base with fans from 21 different states having already purchased tickets and will be attending. The SUMMER MUSIC GAMES in Cincinnati is hosted by the Fairfield High School Marching Band and will be held rain or shine, Monday, July 27th at Dwire Field on the Mason High School (6100 S Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040). Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the competition starts at 7:00 pm.
