The Imperial Presents: Summer Performance Series Kickoff featuring Smoke & Queers
The Imperial Theatre Mohawk Alliance is excited to announce its summer, Wednesday night performance series, "The Imperial Presents..." In celebration of Pride Month, Smoke & Queers will kick off the series with a sexy & dynamic performance that you won't soon forget.
Doors open at 7:00pm.
The Imperial Presents: Summer Performance Series will begin on June 5th and will continue every Wednesday throughout June, July, and August (with the exception of June 12th). Your attendance will help realize the transformation and revitalization of the historic Imperial Theater into the Imperial Theatre-Mohawk Performing Arts and Education Center.
Each month, "The Imperial Presents..." will feature one mainstage performance at OTR StillHouse; the other dates of the series will showcase the Imperial's take on the artist’s salon and will feature a diversity of artist's and creators. The salon’s will take place at 1331 Main St, Cincinnati, OH in the former record store space, Another Part of the Forest. Stay tuned for the announcement of the full lineup. Smoke & Queers Burlesque Troupe Bio: Smoke & Queers is a Cincinnati-based, queer-led burlesque, drag, and performance art troupe that encourages all weird and wild expressions of self, gender, identity, and sexuality. With over 40 rotating performers from around the region, their mission is to help connect and unify the LGBTQ+ community in Cincinnati and beyond to create a space where those outside the typical standard of beauty feel sexy, celebrated, and empowered. S&Q has performed at Cincinnati Fringe Festival, the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), Cincinnati Shakespeare Theatre, Cincinnati Pride, and around Ohio and Kentucky.
