The Imperial Presents: Summer Performance Series featuring 'Synergy Dance Series"
To raise awareness of their efforts to revitalize the historic Imperial Theatre, The Imperial Theatre Mohawk Alliance is delighted to welcome you to The Imperial Presents: Summer Performance Series featuring "Synergy Dance Series."
Directed by Rowan Salem and Teresa VanDenend Sorge, Synergy Dance Series is a recurring shared evening of dance that is greater than the sum of its individual parts. For The Imperial Presents, Salem and VanDenend Sorge have curated a dynamic series of performances highlighting choreographers from 3 different Synergy Dance Series events. Featuring a range of genres from Modern to Contemporary to Tap to Indian to Hip Hop Street Dance, and with solo, duet, and group pieces, Synergy Dance Series and their choreographers have created a dynamic, diverse, and synergistic dance experience.
The Imperial Presents: Summer Performance Series featuring “Synergy Dance Series” will feature work from the following choreographers:

About Synergy Dance Series: Directed by Rowan Salem and Teresa VanDenend Sorge, Synergy Dance Series is a recurring shared evening of dance that is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Emerging and established choreographers from diverse backgrounds who practice varying genres of dance propose new or existing dance works for Synergy Series.
In addition to presenting work on the shared evening of dance, artists engage in specific opportunities to network. In-person events, workshops, and social media initiatives provide opportunities for artists to share about their ongoing process with each other.
