Explore the varieties of vanilla and oak notes as you join us for a guided tasting of Bourbons from Greater Cincinnati distilleries with Daniel Michael.
Ticket includes: Four (4) tasting pours, small nibbles/noshes from our kitchen, and a complimentary movie pass for a future visit.
ABOUT DANIEL MICHAEL: Seven years ago I began doing tastings at our photography studio, images by Daniel Michael Photography to give our couples a chance to meet their wedding photographer in a more social atmosphere. Each tasting would have a signature cocktail and when we did a bourbon tasting I had an old-fashioned for the first time. That old-fashioned became Bourbon on the rocks and then Bourbon neat.
Then it became a hobby. I started collecting my favorite bottles and going to distilleries and taking tours and learning the history of Bourbon. As with all of my passions like photography I don't do anything halfway! So when I do a hobby I do it full out!
I've had dinner with Harlan Wheatley of Buffalo trace and sample thousands of bourbons. I find my pallet can change on a daily basis and I've learned how to pair Bourbon with foods just like you would wine.
The best part of collecting Bourbon is sharing it with friends. No matter your background, your opinions, your preferences, you can always have something in common over a glass of bourbon.
