Cincinnati City Council Candidate Event
Event format:
Because of the number of candidates, the evening will be designed to maximize opportunities for
voters to hear directly from the candidates:
 Part One – Forum: A moderator will ask a question, and each candidate will have a brief
opportunity to respond to the full audience.
 Part Two – Face-to-Face Conversations: Candidates will rotate among small groups of
community members, answering pre-set questions and, when time allows, questions
from the group.
This combination of structured forum and small-group dialogue ensures voters get both a broad
perspective and a more personal exchange with every candidate.
