The show is based on the novel The Madwoman of Chaillot by Jean Giraudoux. Our protagonist, Countess Aurelia, engages her colorful friends in a scheme to stop businessmen from drilling for oil in the Parisian neighborhood of Chaillot. Enjoy lively lines and lyrics delivered by quirky characters and fiendish businessmen as we witness the forces of innocence, love and poetry pitted against greed, materialism, and science.
