CAM Kids Day: Find Your Fairytale


Step into a world of imagination and whimsy at this month’s CAM Kids Day! Help build a giant cardboard castle with artist Sophia Grollmus and create a fairytale sidekick with artist Charity Rust Jordan. Make art with Visionaries + Voices and enjoy an interactive, fairytale-themed performance from artist Daniela Nenova. Play dress-up, make a flower crown, enjoy face-painting, go on a fairytale scavenger hunt, and more! Drop-in activities include: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Enjoy mixed media art making in the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Create a nature crown in the Koetters Family Classroom 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Play fairytale dress-up in the Great Hall 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Help build a giant cardboard castle with artist Sophia Grollmus in the Great Hall 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Make a fairytale sidekick animal with artist Charity Rust Jordan in Gallery 127 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Make art with Visionaries + Voices in Gallery 151 noon–1 p.m. Enjoy an interactive, fairytale-themed performance from artist Daniela Nenova in the Marek-Weaver Family Commons noon–1 p.m. Drop in for Storytime with the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library in Gallery 126 1–1:45 p.m. Take a family-friendly docent-led tour with American Sign Language interpretation by Ghostlight Artistic Interpreting 1–3 p.m. Enjoy fairytale-themed face painting from Little Fox Face Painting in the Eckerle Classroom 1:30–2:00 p.m. Listen to a book reading by local children’s author Michelle Pierce in Gallery 126 Registered activities include: 10–10:40 a.m. Members-Only Baby Tours for ages 0–2 11 a.m.–noon Family Storytime and Gallery Walk for preschoolers
