An Epiphany Procession at Christ Church Cathedral

Join us for a service of Scripture, prayer, music, and pageantry that reflects on the three Epiphany mysteries: the revelation of the Christ child to the Magi, the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, and the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Cana. Music sung by the choir will include: Magi veniunt ab oriente (Clemens non Papa), Gold and Spices (Alison Willis), Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day (arr. Richard Shephard), Set Me as a Seal (René Clausen), Tribus miraculis (Luca Marenzio), Cana’s Guest (Richard Allain), and Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars (Jonathan Dove).
An organ recital performed by cathedral organist Shiloh Roby precedes the service at 4:30 pm.
Incense will be used at this service.
