Music@BCM Presents Soul Pocket

Get ready for an electrifying evening as Behringer-Crawford Museum's Music@BCM welcomes Soul Pocket, Cincinnati’s favorite party band, for a high-energy performance on Thursday, June 13, from 7 to 9 p.m.   Soul Pocket, a 12-piece extravaganza led by Sneaky Pete Kurlas, features the dynamic trio of female vocalists: Dee Marie, Yolanda Colvin, and Ingrid Rachel. The band includes a powerful brass section, a skilled percussionist, and a super tight rhythm section with guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. For over 25 years, Soul Pocket has been captivating audiences in the Cincinnati area with its lively mix of Soul, Motown, R&B, Rock, and Funk, known for its sparkling performances and packed dance floors.   Originating from Sneaky Pete Kurlas’s vision to create a band spotlighting female vocalists, Soul Pocket quickly became a sensation, performing at local clubs and attracting fans from all over, including members of Blessed Union Of Souls, The Backstreet Boys, and 98 Degrees. Their versatility has made them a popular choice for private functions, wedding receptions, and corporate events. Soul Pocket has performed at numerous prestigious events, including Taste of Cincinnati, American Heart Association fundraisers, and the Cincinnati Zoo's Zoofari. They have also opened for legendary acts like The Pointer Sisters and The Commodores.
