Music@BCM Presents Gina and Johnny
Set your summer soundtrack to the blues when Gina & Johnny return to Music@BCM on Thursday, July 23. The acclaimed band brings soulful vocals, exceptional musicianship and an unforgettable live performance to Behringer-Crawford Museum from 7 to 9 p.m.
Formed in 2022, Gina & Johnny brings together some of Cincinnati’s finest blues musicians. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Gina McCann and guitarist and vocalist Johnny Fink, a Northern Kentucky Music Hall of Fame inductee, the band delivers a soulful, high-energy performance that has quickly earned a devoted following throughout the region.
Joining them are bassist and vocalist Mike Grosser, a three-time Northern Kentucky Music Hall of Fame inductee who has toured throughout the United States performing with numerous artists, and veteran drummer Roger Bates, whose decades of experience touring with blues musicians provide the driving rhythm behind the band’s signature sound.
The band’s debut album, Free Your Soul, released in January 2025, has received worldwide airplay and widespread critical acclaim. Gina & Johnny also earned national recognition as semifinalists in the 2025 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, further cementing their reputation as one of the region’s premier blues acts.
Weather permitting, concerts are held outdoors at Behringer-Crawford Museum, located at 1600 Montague Road in Covington. In the event of inclement weather, performances will be moved indoors. Parking is free.
Doors open at 6 p.m., when guests may enter the museum and concert grounds to enjoy exhibits, food and drinks before the performances begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for museum members and students ages 13 to 17, and free for children ages 12 and under. Visitors presenting an EBT card receive a reduced admission of $3 for up to four persons. Concert admission also includes access to BCM’s current exhibition, Treasures From the Attic: 250 Years of Fashion & Furniture.
Food fromSkyline Chili, Erlanger will be available for purchase during the concert, along with a cash bar and the crowd-favorite “Split the Pot” raffle. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for outdoor seating.
