Please join us June 22nd for "American Heritage Day" - a Symmes Township. Bicentennial event in Camp Dennison at the Christian Waldschmidt Homestead and Civil War Museum, and Schoolhouse Restaurant both located on SR 126, and the Derbyshire Stable 7730 Camp Road, Camp Dennison, OH. There are no admission fees where you will have colonial dressed ladies leading tours of the Christian Waldschmidt Homestead buildings and grounds with members of the Sons of the American Revolution, historic musicians, demo of tatting, gardening, and children’s games and crafts. The American Revolution Experience traveling Exhibit will be displayed at the Homestead on June 22, 23, 30, and July 1st. Come see America’s History!
Visit the general store, feed the goats, see colonial folk dancers, take a carriage ride, and eat at the historic Schoolhouse Restaurant. It will be a day of fun with colonial crafts and games. You can drive a short distance and also see a blacksmith working and have a free pony rides at Derbyshire Stables.
