Satisfy Lunchtime Cravings with the Express Lunch Menu at Wonderverse
Skip the repetitive weekly meal prep and enjoy a budget friendly lunch at Wonderverse with their new Express Lunch menu featuring entrée options priced at only $15 and under. The expertly curated Express Lunch includes items such as the Big Salad, MexiCali Grilled Chicken, Classic Smash Burger, Bleu Smash Burger, Cheddar Jalapeno Smash Burger, Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap, and Smothered Fries. Wonderverse serves the Express Lunch menu every Monday through Friday from 11AM-3PM and the full menu offers a diverse selection of American favorites with new fresh flavors curated by Chef Scott Donaldson.
At Wonderverse, wonder exists at every turn. Once guests enter the 45,000 square-foot thrilling space, they become fully immersed in experiences beyond the big screen, will socialize in a transformative destination based on some of their favorite movies, and discover a hybrid of physical and immersive multimedia experiences, interactive installations, dynamic attractions, and themed dining in their large restaurant. Sony Picture Entertainment’s films including Ghostbusters, Uncharted, Jumanji, Bad Boys, Zombieland, and more are featured in activations including;
· UNCHARTED: THE PURSUIT Based on the action-packed blockbuster film, UNCHARTED, explorers work to unearth hidden treasures, solve challenges, and complete quests across three thrilling escape rooms: The Heist, The Hunt, and The Return. Participants can sleuth in one of the individual rooms or complete all three for a connected storyline experience.
· GHOSTBUSTERS VIRTUAL REALITY ACADEMY The Ghostbusters VR Academy gives attendees the chance to be real Ghostbusters by featuring two distinct virtual reality experiences. Guests enter the ARENA, suit up and are armed with proton packs as they outsmart mischievous spirits and join forces with fellow trainees to capture ghosts. BLITZ, a separate attraction, allows participants to hop into the driver’s seat of the ECTO hovercraft, a vehicle exclusive to the Academy, to compete to see who’s the fastest, most skillful driver in a high-speed race.
· PACIFIC PLAYLAND Inspired by the decrepit carnival in ZOMBIELAND, guests may show off their game amongst the “undead”, win prizes, and stay “alive”.
· ZOMBIELAND BUMPER CARS In this bumper car ride, one car is chosen as Patient Zero. Guests avoid getting bumped or they’ll become “zombies”. The fun begins as drivers navigate the chaos, stay uninfected, and escape the outbreak.
· JUMANJI: REVERSE THE CURSE Like the characters in the movie, guests will be thrust into the game in a virtual reality pursuit to find the stolen jewel, stop the spread of evil, and “Reverse the Curse.”
· BAD BOYS RACING CLUB Surrounded by a Miami-inspired skyline with illuminated photo-ops, get ready to ride like the BAD BOYS in this collection of racing simulators that takes guests on a high-speed chase to victory.
The large 65 foot bar is a highlight of Wonderverse, positioned under stunning, contemporary light fixtures, and features over 150 types of beer, wine and cocktails as well as light bites and tasty desserts, overlooking the larger restaurant space. After enjoying all of the magical offerings of Wonderverse, guests can embark on a supernatural journey as they enter the chic Ghost Trap Speakeasy. This unique bar offers more than bespoke, movie themed cocktails, but also delivers an exciting experience for attendees and their fellow Ghostbusters. Highlights include luxurious seating in leather booths, a fireplace, original art works depicting iconic Ghostbusters scenes, as well as holograms of the movie’s ghosts that seem to dance through the air.
Wonderverse is located at 100 Oakbrook Center, Oakbrook, IL 60523 on Level 1, just outside of Chicago at the Oakbrook Center, one of the country’s most visited shopping malls. Entry to Wonderverse is free with attractions priced for all to enjoy. Visitors are encouraged to book tickets in advance, as availability can become limited.
