PLAY: A choose your own adventure show by common pulse vocal ensemble
common pulse vocal ensemble invites you to our 2025 performances of PLAY. We acknowledge the benefits of play for children; research and life experience show us that through play children learn and develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Is the same true for adults? How can we fold play into our daily routines? How can we engage in play within ourselves and with one another? How does playing help us to uproot and dismantle societal oppression? We invite our community into an interactive and playful experience, where audience members get to help shape the path of the show. You'll hear familiar favorites and multiple premieres of new arrangements by members of the ensemble. No two shows will be the same!
Your ticket purchase includes:
- A 90-minute performance by common pulse vocal ensemble
- Reception with included light food by Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! and beverage (alcohol and alcohol-free options available)
- An opportunity to meet and support local artists
