    12/07/2024 12:00 PM 12/07/2024 02:30 PM America/Atikokan "Herricanes” Silver Screen Social with Documentary Subject Q&A On Saturday Dec. 7th at 12 p.m., Wayfarer Theaters will host Loyola University film professor Zbigniew "Ziggy" Banas and Basia Haszlakiewicz for a screening for a deep dive into the Wayfarer Studio's film "The Herricanes" about The Houston Herricanes, a women's professional full-tackle football team, who find camaraderie and friendship as they controversially open a new door in the world of sports.  Following the screening will be a Q&A with Basia Haszlakiewicz, a member of The Herricanes team featured in the documentary.
