Wake ‘n Bacon Hosts Coat Drive to Benefit Refugee Community Connection
Any guest who dines between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and brings a new or gently used winter coat to donate will receive a complimentary order* of Wake ‘n Bacon’s signature La Vida Dulce French Toast. The decadent dish features brioche french toast stuffed with house made dulce de leche then topped with a dulce whipped cream, sugar cookie crumble, and blackberry ginger compote. (*limit one per person)
Refugee Community Connection is a Chicago area volunteer-powered organization welcoming families from around the world and seeks to ease the transition for newly arrived refugees to Chicago. They provide resources, information, and household necessities with a self-directed network of volunteers who forge a neighborly connection.
