Get the evening started with the antipasto, olive all’ascolana with cured meats and cheeses, paired with Verdicchio wine. Verdicchio wine, primarily made in the Marche region of central Italy, is known for its green/yellow hue, and unique fruit and almond taste. Savor the second course, which consists of Risotto with lemon prosciutto and black pepper, enjoyed alongside Rubico wine. The light-bodied, dry red wine presents aromas of cherry and spice, with a fruity taste and rub red coloring. The evening’s main course includes Pollo Potaccio, a chicken stewed with tomato and rosemary, paired perfectly with Orgiolo wine. Orgiolo wine, made from Lacrima grapes, is aged and delivers aromas of rose, blackberry, pink pepper, and juniper berries, with an overall fruity taste.
Be sure to save room for dessert, pound cake topped with pear compote and mascarpone, for a truly delicious end to a fantastic meal.
