Ladies Who Lit and The Art Idiot are excited to present a screening of the award-winning film Almost Famous (2000), directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Kate Hudson as Penny Lane, leader of the Band Aids, Stillwater's muse and manager, and a style icon both on and off the silver screen.
This screening is presented in partnership with the Ukrainiain Institute of Modern Art on the occassion of their current exhibition, L.A. Woman, a memorial which suveys the extraordinary life and multifaceted career of model, actress, artist, curator, and documentary filmmaker Irene Antonovych.
Attendees are invited to attend an after-hours private viewing of L.A. Woman before it closes on Sunday, May 10 prior to the film's start time at 7pm.

After-hours admission to UIMA beginning at 6pm
Large-format screening of Almost Famous at 7pm
Free beer and water generously provided by UIMA
A takeaway "mini mag" of suggested reading, watching and listening that will further the themes presentedin the dual-viewing and screening of L.A. Woman and Almost Famous
