Afternoon Tea at The Ritz-Carlton
The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago invites guests to escape the bustling rhythm of the city and spend some time with views from above it all for Afternoon Tea. Every weekend, enjoy the elegance and attentive service the Ritz-Carlton has offered Chicago for over 50 years at Torali restaurant, with an experience rooted in timeless tradition. Seatings are available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Seated at the 12th floor of the hotel, overlooking views of the water and city skyline, sits Torali, with floor to ceiling windows and a clean, bright feel. Torali blends the modern with traditional with everything they do, and this event is no exception. Enjoy a curated selection of teas by Palais des Thés, alongside an assortment of pastries, tea sandwiches, and a flute of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Champagne.
The afternoon tea menu follows a journey through delicate and bold flavors. Savory bites range from a fresh English cucumber with chive cream cheese, lemon and viola flowers to a bold peri-peri chicken salad with roasted garlic aioli and baby lettuce. Pastries include an Amarena cherry panna cotta with almond amaretto biscuit, lavender mousse with blackberry coulis, and a pistachio rose with lemon and yuzu custard. The handcrafted pastries and sandwiches create the perfect accompaniment to the selection of teas offered.
Afternoon Tea is $125 per guest, exclusive of tax, gratuity, and fees. Our younger guests aged 12 and under can enjoy a children's tea menu that is available for $70 per child, also exclusive of tax, gratuity and fees. Reservations can be made in advance through Tock.
