Smith, MK Pritzker has brought a carefully curated collection of fine art, crafts, and furniture to the Italianate–Greek Revival Illinois Governors Mansion, and has researched and documented the mansion's cultural history and changing architecture. Her book, A House that Made History: The Illinois Governors Mansion, Legacy of an Architectural Treasure will be on sale after the presentation. An optional luncheon precedes the program, at 12 noon.
