Rishi is the acclaimed force behind Mirra, Chicago’s Michelin-nominated culinary hotspot. Recognized as Eater Chicago’s Best Chef 2024 and honored with Best New Restaurant in America, Rishi marries his Singaporean roots and global experience with a deep passion for Mexican cuisine. After refining his skills in renowned kitchens across Singapore, France, and the U.S., he rose through the ranks at Chicago’s iconic Frontera Grill and Topolobampo, earning a James Beard Award alongside Chef Rick Bayless. At Mirra, Chef Rishi’s innovative approach and commitment to flavor have cemented his reputation as one of America’s most exciting chefs.
Mexican-Indian powerhouse Mirra has quickly become a cross-cultural phenomenon, setting Chicago’s restaurant scene ablaze, weaving together Mexican and Indian flavors and spices into an all-new, innovative dining experience.
