The Fish Guy x Small Business Saturdays
Looking for something to do this Saturday? The Fish Guy, Chicago’s finest fishmonger, will be hosting a Small Business Saturday event from 9 am-5 pm! The lineup is as follows:
Morning Coffee and Lox (9- 11 am): Alberto Bolares from 606 Coffee Roasters will be on-site, offering freshly prepared pour-over coffee samples. Guests can also enjoy samples of the available balik-style lox.
Midday Spice Exploration (12– 2 pm: Heray Spices, represented by Mohammad Salehi, will host a discussion on the origin and characteristics of their exquisite, fragrant spices. These unique spices will be expertly paired with cod and scallops to showcase their special flavor profiles.
Afternoon Wine and Pairing (3-5 pm): Communion Wines will be pouring their distinctive Riesling/Pear/Apple coferment, served alongside a selection of tinned fish and other snacks. Additionally, a selection of Sfera's marinara (served with mussels) and caponata will be paired with an additional red wine (to be determined).
Motorshucker bar nut mix will be available all day long.
