After the viral success of their first three collaboration bento boxes with Chef Chris Jung of Maxwells Trading, Chef Lee Wolen of MICHELIN-starred Boka, and Chef Lawrence Letrero of Bayan Ko, TenGoku Aburiya has revealed the latest edition of their Bento & Co. collaboration series with The Jean Banchet Awards’ 2025 Restaurant of the Year, avec.
Recognized by Nation’s Restaurant News on its 2022 Chefs ‘Power List’ and named one of CS Magazine’s ‘Top Innovators,’ avec’s Chef Dylan Patel is fusing his Mediterranean culinary expertise with TenGoku’s Japanese izakaya classics, serving up a West Loop power lunch. Guests can enjoy a delicious combination of Spanish mackerel with sumac and chili crisp, Avec’s signature hummus, shishito peppers, garlic rice, tamago, and more.
Guests can enjoy this limited edition box at TenGoku during the restaurant's lunch hours (11:30 am - 1:30 pm), available now through March 7th. In addition, 10% of every bento box sold will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, helping to fight food insecurity and provide meals for those in need.
