Please join us for a screening of the comedy series pilot I Didn’t Mean to Go Mental. Shot and realized entirely in Chicago, the short follows two women who crash their cars and are forced to spend the weekend in a psych ward together. Writer/creator Carly Glenn will be joined by Chicago cast and crew for a discussion panel afterward.
This program is co-presented by the Chicago Public Library's Diversability Committee, which highlights the accomplishments and challenges faced by people with disabilities, and by Mental Filmness, a Chicago-based film festival dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
The event will take place in the Sulzer Regional Library auditorium.
