Old Town Teachers Organization presents New Music from Faculty Recording Artists
From the world-renowned Chicago cultural institution, the Old Town School of Folk Music (OTS), the Old Town Teachers Organization will present members of the esteemed OTS faculty in concert in the Sulzer Library Auditorium, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago at 2pm on Sunday, June 23.
OTS faculty members Renée Nanzer, Jonas Friddle, Stella Solveig, Jonathon Hannau and Tisa Batchelder will each perform selections from newly released recordings. Each artist, whose musical styles range from folk to rock opera to math rock minimalism, will perform a short, individual 15- to 20-minute set.
The Old Town Teachers Organization (Local 909 of the Illinois Federation of Teachers) is a not-for-profit union that works with OTS administration and board to cultivate an atmosphere of trust, respect and commitment within the Old Town School Community.
The event is free and open to the public.
