Grown & Sexy Dance Event Explores Black Joy and Embodied Pleasure
As part of Honey Pot Performance’s Pleasure Power Portal series, Adult Tea is a gathering for the grown and sexy to explore the radical possibilities of embodied pleasure. Through partner and social dance—especially the slow dance—we ask: What does it mean to co-create joy through movement? How can touch, rhythm, and the sonic landscape open portals to power, presence, and connection?
More than a dance floor, Adult Tea is a living archive of Black sensuality, intimacy, and agency. It’s an invitation to experience pleasure not as indulgence, but as a collaborative practice of care, memory, and liberation.
