International Day of the Girl Hybrid Book Club with Abi Daré
WGEP is thrilled to celebrate International Day of the Girl with our Goodwill Ambassador, Abi Daré, the internationally bestselling author of “The Girl with the Louding Voice.” On Friday, October 11, join us for an exclusive Hybrid Book Club event as Abi launches her new novel, “And So I Roar.”
We are hosting this event in partnership with Semicolon Bookstore – Chicago’s largest Black-woman-owned bookstore! The event will take place at Semicolon’s West Town location in Chicago. Guests will enjoy a selection of wine and appetizers while conversing with Abi Daré as she joins us live from London via Zoom. Don’t miss your chance to discuss her inspiring work and engage in meaningful conversation!
