Jim Perona Salon Concert at Historic Schweikher House
Join us for an intimate performance by guitarist Jim Perona in the living room of the historic Schweikher House, sponsored by Robbins Architecture, Winnetka, Illinois.
Perona is one of the most performance-active classical guitarists in the Chicagoland area. His expansive repertoire includes classical, flamenco, Latin and his own contemporary arrangements. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University under the tutelage of Fareed Haque and Master's Degree from the New England Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Eliot Fisk.
Perona was invited to perform and lecture at the Boston Guitar Festival in 2018 and also performed and lectured at the 2021 Rhode Island Guitar Festival.
Perona is highly sought after for private events, being named an 11-time "Best of Weddings" winner on TheKnot.com, "Hall of Fame" award on TheKnot.com, and a 2-time "Top National Guitarist" on TheBash.com.
Doors open 2:30, performance at 3pm. Light refreshments will be served.
