Enjoy live music, delicious hearty bites, drinks (two tickets provided), and community at the the fun-filled venue, Robert's Westside! PING's auction features crowd pleasers from wine tasting events and music event passes, to sporting event packages and museum tickets, to family-fun outings and more!
Bands include:
The Staleys with Drew Fredrickson of OPRFHS and Marching Huskies Asst. Director
The Staff Band with Oak Park District 97's Tom Kanwischer, Director of Bands at Julian Middle School
The Juliet Trio with top-ranked in the state keyboardist Jude Peterson and top-ranked set Brett James, along with Charlie Peterson!
All proceeds ensure students in Oak Park and River Forest who benefit from support can participate in instrumental music at the public schools.
PING (Providing Instruments for the Next Generation) is a 25+ year old community nonprofit organization providing band and orchestra instruments, mentoring, workshops, and access to lessons, music camps, and trips to students who benefit from support that are in grades 4 through 12 in Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois, public schools. In a community with very high-quality school music programs, PING students can be on par with peers regardless of their financial situations and feel like they belong.
