So Now, What? a new, two-act play
The Evanston 2nd Act Players will be returning to Logan Hall this November for the world premiere of a new play, So Now, What? written by 2nd Act Players’ cofounder and Evanston resident John N. Frank.
What would you say to a departed loved one if you could speak with them again? In So Now, What, main character Frankie gets that chance, but things don’t turn out exactly as he thought they might.
Come see Frankie try to make peace with his past, present and an uncertain future, all while dealing with two heart attacks, the Covid pandemic and the ghost of his father.
Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10,11,17,18. There also will be two Sunday matinees on Sunday Nov. 12 and Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m.
The Nov. 12 matinee will be followed by a panel discussion on dealing with issues of aging such as the loss of identity after retirement and inherited diseases diseases.
