You may know Mary by her work at the Chicago Tribune and her wonderful biography called Algren: A Life. Mary is scheduled Friday, August 9 at 7:00 pm to speak on Algren's "other" women, his wives, a subject rarely addressed. Join us Friday, August 9. $10 at the door. The Algren biography will be available for sale and you can always buy a drink at the Algrenesque bar next door, Thumbs Up. The Sound Stage is an open air venue located at 616 S.
