ALMAS to Host Naperville City Council Candidate Forum on March 24
ALMAS – Alliance of Latinos Motivating Action in the Suburbs is pleased to invite the community to our Naperville City Council Candidate Forum on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the 95th Street Library Meeting Room B (3015 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville 60564).
This nonpartisan forum will provide an opportunity for candidates to engage with residents, discuss key issues, and share their vision for Naperville’s future. All candidates have been invited to participate.
Founded in 2023, ALMAS is the first Latino-led and Latino-serving nonprofit in Naperville, dedicated to fostering civic engagement, education, and leadership. Hosting this forum aligns with our mission to empower voters with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions while fostering respectful dialogue in our diverse community.
Community Participation Encouraged
Residents are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates in advance by visiting https://forms.gle/2dXjrs8gm8XBmKG66. Questions must be submitted by 12:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025 and will be reviewed to ensure a fair, issue-focused discussion.
About the Event
An ALMAS moderator will facilitate the event to ensure fairness and equal speaking opportunities. Candidates will give opening and closing statements and respond to questions with time-limited answers. The event is free and open to the public. Community members may submit questions in advance and Spanish interpretation will be available to ensure inclusive participation.
