On March 22nd from 7 PM to 10 PM, The Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association will partner with Chicago's premier cocktail bar, Moonflower, to host a one-night-only pop-up with shochu cocktails created by some of the industry's brightest. The lineup includes: Kenta Goto from Bar Goto, Takuma Watanabe from Martiny's, Chris Bostick from Half Step, and Julia Momosé from Bar Kumiko - all who will be mixing creative concoctions alongside Moonflower's stellar bar team.
Shochu is the native spirit of Japan – a white spirit that’s incredibly rich in flavor, yet smooth and easy to drink with food. It’s trending in the industry and poised to take over the cocktail world by storm. We hope to see you there to learn more about the art of shochu!
