About Viva Acid:
Viva Acid is a reference to Acid House, a style of House music developed in Chicago in the 1980s. Viva Acid is dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of House music in Chicago and beyond, creating spaces for information exchange within the industry both online and offline. During their multi-day October function, Viva Acid brings together electronic music lovers for technical workshops, curated conversations, and, of course, dancing. Viva Acid uses their instagram platform to provide house music history education, info for folks breaking into the industry, and tons of insight into the tracks DJs love.
