Pride Month Film Fest - Seguimos Aquí: Pride, Pandemic, and Perseverance
Winner for Best Documentary Short - Jury Award at Chicago’s 2022 LGBTQ+ International Reeling Film Festival. Seguimos Aquí: Pride, Pandemic, and Perseverance tells the story of LaSaia, Reyna, Luis, and Nissa, four Latinx LGBTQ leaders in Chicago from different backgrounds who use the power of self-determination, love, and community to not only survive but help their communities become visible.
The screening will be followed by a short talk from ALMA Chicago (The Association of Latinos/as/xs Motivating Action). Film is bilingual (English/Spanish). Registration required.
