This FREE festival celebrates the monarch butterfly as it migrates through East Chicago, Indiana. The unique event honors the monarch’s cultural connections to Mexico while helping children and adults connect with nature. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT at Kosciuszko Park. There will be music, food, dance, and a stunning release of monarch butterflies as they head south to their wintering grounds.
