Giving blood is a (relatively) simple act with an outsized impact. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Hosting a Blood Drive at JRC sends a message, individually and collectively – a message that we care, that we are all connected and that we will take action to ease the way of others – as a community.
For years, beloved JRC member, Sara Cohn, z’l, coordinated the drive. Sara’s warmth and effervescence were a magnetic draw for those of us donating blood. We continue to honor Sara’s legacy with our Annual Blood Drive.
Donating blood takes about one hour. Come, join us! Bring a buddy with you! Together we’ll meet, schmooze and nosh. Collectively we’ll help others in need.
