In celebration of the cities and chefs who have solidified the Midwest’s reputation as one of the nation’s most prolific dining scenes, Co-Owners & Chefs Adam McFarland and Thomas Rogers of Chicago’s new Lincoln Park cornerstone John’s Food and Wine welcome two James Beard Award Semifinalists from across the region for an exclusive night of collaborative cooking at John’s on Sunday, March 10th. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the pair will team up with longtime friend and former Gramercy Tavern colleague Kyle Knall of Milwaukee’s Birch along with John Yelinek of Ladder 4 Wine Bar in Detroit, MI (both named among the “Best Restaurants of 2023” by The New York Times) to present a multi-course tasting menu spotlighting the technique-driven, seasonal cooking signature to each restaurant. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Arc, the nation’s largest community-based organization that advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
