Jay and Silent Bob (and friends!) are coming to Chicago for the first-ever Chronic Con Convention! Thirty years ago, the dynamic duo of Jay and Silent Bob entered the world of pop culture with the debut of Clerks, an indie film that drew a cult-like following. Fast forward 25 years in 2019’s Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) were stoked with the idea of attending a fan event called “Chronic Con.” Chronic Con is now a REAL thing–and it’s coming to Rosemont. The very first Chronic Con will be held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare October 11-13, 2024. The 3-day convention will celebrate Smith’s fictional View Askewniverse, its characters and all things pop culture. Fans can immerse themselves in all things View Askewniverse and can expect an unforgettable experience, celebrating the iconic characters and universe that Kevin Smith has masterfully crafted. Whether you're a die-hard View Askew fan or new to the world of Jay and Silent Bob, Chronic Con promises a weekend of fun, fandom and fantastic memories.
